Overview

pjespjes.com is a comparison service for PC hardware listings from third-party Kosovo retailers. This service exists to promote price transparency for consumers in Kosovo, consistent with consumer protection principles.

This policy explains what information we may process when you browse the site, create an account, use saved features, or open source-store links.

This policy applies to pjespjes.com itself. It does not replace the privacy notices of 75Mall, Gjirafa50, Foleja, EGSKS, KosovaMall, Infotech KS, Point Computers, Startech24, Betatech KS, Butonks, Macintoks, PRO iT KS, Winks, XitoShop, and Gorilla Mall, or any other third-party store you may visit through our links.

Categories of data we process

We process the following categories of data:

• Account data: email address, name, authentication identifiers, hashed password (when email registration is used)
• Social auth data: OAuth identifier, provider name, access token (when social sign-in via Google or Discord is used)
• Session data: session ID, IP address, user agent, expiration timestamp
• Saved builds: PC build configurations linked to your account
• Price alerts: alert rules linked to your account
• Wishlist: saved products linked to your account
• AI chat: chat threads and messages when you use the AI feature
• Technical logs: IP address, user agent, request metadata, timestamps
• Anti-abuse data: Turnstile verification results, browser session fingerprints

Account and profile data

You can browse much of the site without creating an account, but the application includes optional account features. If you sign up, sign in, reset a password, or use profile-related features, we may process information such as your email address, authentication identifiers, and basic account metadata needed to operate the account.

The application includes optional social sign-in via Google and Discord, as well as password-reset email flows. If you use those features, the associated authentication or email-delivery data is processed as part of providing the service.

Technical data, cookies, browser storage, and anti-abuse controls

Like most web services, we process standard technical information such as IP address, user agent, request metadata, timestamps, and basic server logs for security, reliability, debugging, and abuse prevention.

The application uses session or authentication cookies where needed for sign-in features.

Browser storage: The application stores some preference and state data in your browser via localStorage, including:

• PC build configurations
• AI chat history (stored locally in your browser)
• View preferences

Turnstile verification: We use Cloudflare Turnstile to verify browser visits before loading the parts catalog. This process may send your IP address to Cloudflare for verification. The information is processed under Cloudflare's own privacy policy.

Session fingerprinting: Catalog browser sessions use IP, user agent, and language fingerprinting for anti-abuse control, to prevent automated access to the parts catalog.

AI features and chat data

pjespjes.com includes an optional AI chat feature that helps users with PC build recommendations. When you use the AI feature:

• Chat messages are sent to third-party AI model providers for processing
• Chat threads may be stored in our database if you are signed in
• Chat history is also stored in your browser's localStorage

AI model providers process chat messages under their own privacy policies. We do not send AI providers personal data from your account beyond the message content that you yourself type in the chat.

What we do not intentionally collect for checkout

pjespjes.com does not process payments for source-store purchases and is not the merchant of record for any store listing shown on the site. When you choose to buy something, you complete that transaction on the source store's own website.

We do not ask you to enter your payment card details into pjespjes.com for third-party store purchases shown in the comparison experience.

Store-source product data we display

We collect, store, transform, and display public factual product-listing metadata from source stores, including product names, prices, discount signals, stock or availability indicators, specification fields, category information, product URLs, image URLs, and related listing metadata.

That source-store product data describes store listings, not you as a user. We use it to power search, comparison views, offer pages, price tracking, and PC-part research features. The displayed information consists of factual data such as prices, names, and specifications, which are not protected by copyright under Kosovo and EU law.

Third-party images and store links

When we display source-store listings, product images are linked from the original source or proxied through our service for technical reliability. Images are not permanently stored by us; they are passed through from the original source as needed.

Clicking a store link takes you to the source store's own website, where that store controls the page, checkout flow, cookies, analytics, and privacy practices. Once you leave pjespjes.com for a source store, that store's privacy notice and terms apply to your interaction with that destination.

Service providers and infrastructure

We use third-party service providers to operate pjespjes.com, including providers for hosting, database storage, caching, authentication, transactional email delivery, anti-abuse verification, and AI model processing.

These providers receive only the data necessary to perform their function. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

We disclose information to service providers only to the extent reasonably necessary to operate, secure, maintain, or improve the service, or to comply with law.

Data retention

We target the following retention periods and review them periodically:

• Session metadata: up to 90 days after last activity
• Social auth tokens: until logout or up to 30 days of inactivity
• AI chat threads: up to 90 days
• Saved builds: until user deletes or account deletion
• Price alerts: until user deletes or account deletion
• Wishlist: until user deletes or account deletion
• Server logs: up to 30 days
• Source product data: refreshed each pipeline cycle, historical snapshots retained up to 30 days

These are target periods. In practice, some data may persist slightly beyond these windows until the next scheduled cleanup. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. Retention periods may be extended when required for security investigation, dispute resolution, or legal obligations.

Your rights and choices

Under Kosovo's Law on Personal Data Protection (Nr. 06/L-082), you have the right to:

• Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction: request correction of inaccurate data
• Deletion: request deletion of your account and associated data
• Export: request an exportable copy of your account data

If you are a source store, rights holder, or representative asking us to review source content, image use, or a takedown issue, email [email protected] with the subject line "Source Content / Takedown Request."

Data sources

Our current named source stores are 15 stores: 75Mall, Gjirafa50, Foleja, EGSKS, KosovaMall, Infotech KS, Point Computers, Startech24, Betatech KS, Butonks, Macintoks, PRO iT KS, Winks, XitoShop, and Gorilla Mall.

We list these stores here for transparency about the public listing data shown on the service. Listing a store as a data source does not mean that store endorses, sponsors, or partners with pjespjes.com.

Children's privacy

pjespjes.com is not designed for children under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us at [email protected] and we will remove it promptly.

Changes

We may revise this policy when the service, our integrations, or our legal disclosures change. If we make a material change, we will update the last-updated date on this page.
